Atera is the best of the German rack system brands, and at least as good as any manufacturer in this market. Most of Atera's roof bars and accessories business is with the car manufacturers; major customers include Audi, BMW, Daewoo, Chrysler, Fiat, Honda, Mitsubishi, Mercedes-Benz, Opel, Subaru, Suzuki, Vauxhall and Volkswagen.

Atera has launched its SIGNO family of roof bars, available in steel or aluminium. The SIGNO AS bars are beautifully made, stylish, pre-assembled and ready to fit. You literally only need to take them out of their box and tighten them onto the roof using the coded tensioner / key; there are no additional adjustments to make.

The SIGNO ASR bars for longitudinal roof rails present a particularly low profile - only 40mm from the centre of the rail to the top of the roof bar; they suit roof rails from 15 - 55mm diameter (i.e. they can be adjusted for particularly wide roof rails.) Longer bars are available should you change to a wider or narrower vehicle.

Atera SIGNOs feature integrated locks for extra security (pictured on left).

Choose either the plastic coated galvanized steel roof bars, or the aluminium 'T-track' aerobars. The aerobars use 20 x 20mm adapters. (Boxes = Thule part no. 697-1 for all boxes except KAMEI which need part no. 52003.)
