Pendle’s 4 bike large wheel 4 x 4 Hang On rack has a 10" offset for vehicles with larger spare wheels.

Pendle's recommendation is that you do NOT carrying bikes while towing ('bolt on' racks only, obviously). This is a good generalisation; you need to use commonsense to decide whether there is enough space. (How long is the caravan or trailer draw bar?) You must also check the maximum permitted tow ball nose weight. There are 2 versions of this rack: (1) for 'bolt on' tow balls, and (2) for swan neck tow balls. These 2 types are completely incompatible, so if you change tow ball types, aim to sell the old rack with the old car!
