B&W (formally known as BWH Koffer) was founded in 1983 and has built up an enviable reputation as one of Europe's most innovative manufacturers of specialist cases to industry, the service sector, and the professions, working predominantly with plastics, polycarbonates, aluminium and specialised foams.

The B&W touring family reflects a small but significant part of B&W's overall expertise, with a range of top quality products to suit both professional and amateur cyclists.

Bike boxes are made of ABS plastic. The soft bike bags are made from waterproofed 420 D high density nylon, with double sewn and fully taped seams, and top quality zips. In other words they're extremely hard wearing as well as looking and feeling good.

B&W is part of the BWH Group, Germany's premier manufacturer of specialist cases for industry and the professions, and is quality certified to ISO 9001. Product design, development, testing, refinement and most manufacturing is carried out 'in house', the aim being to ensure the best possible quality for the price.

More than "half way between a bag and a full box" - it's more of a compromise on price than protection. You have most of the advantages of a box - the bike is held in an alloy anti-shock frame (see bike.case for details) set in a 27cm high ABS plastic shell to protect the cranks, chain rings and rear mechs. The bag component is thickly padded with a three way lockable travel zip. With two sets of twin fixed wheels on one end, double castor sets on the other, and four handles, the Touring Bag is easy to travel with - and easy to store. It holds all kinds of racing bike and most MTBs, but you'll probably need to remove the anti-shock frame to carry full suspension bikes

Minimum disassembly is required - only the wheels need to be removed. Made of ABS with plenty of additional interior padding, quick release clamps, flush locks all round, four lifting handles, one folding pulling handle, and easily replaceable wheels at each corner. It's suitable for all frame sizes, including full suspension mountain bikes. (Leave out the anti-shock frame and there's even room for downhill bikes!) There's plenty of room to stow other gear too. It has copious quantities of foam padding, flush locks, easily replaceable rollers at each corner (spares included), and comes complete with two padded wheel.bags, a foam cushion for the sprocket, and an anti-compression disk. Suits all frame sizes, although beyond 24" you'll probably need to remove the seat. (Not suitable for full suspension bikes - use a bike.case instead.)
