The Centrax is RUD's fastest and easiest fitting chain. You'll see that the all the chain is on the face of the tyre, which is why it's often the only chain which RUD approve for vehicles which have a "No fit" for traditional chains. ("No fit" usually suggests, for example, that when the wheel is on full lock there's a strut or brake pipe which would be damaged by the chain that covers the inside of the tyre.)

Fitting the Centrax is easy:

• You start off by fitting a special wheel bolt adapter to each driving wheel. (Hopefully you'll have done this at home, intending to leave these permanently in place during the winter months.)
• Place a Centrax over each wheel and clip it to the adapter
• Operate the lever assisted strap device which applies the necessary force on the tension arms to hold the chain in place.
• Get back in the car and drive off. The Centrax wind themselves into place when the wheels starts to turn
• It really is this simple!

• Centrax are supplied in a strong smart space saving ballistic nylon bag, triangular in shape so it fits snugly behind the back seat
• 17mm, 19mm and 21mm wheel bolt adapters are supplied as standard with each set of Centrax. These fit almost every car on the market, but bigger sizes are also available - please make a note in the online Comments box if you need a bigger size
