Joining the established 'medium long, medium wide' Farad 450 roof box in the Roof Box Company's already extensive range are the 'small' Farad 320, the 'short wide' Farad 400 and the 'long wide' Farad 550 roof boxes.
This new range of Farad boxes have several innovative features, most obviously the patented dual side opening system, based around an innovative telescopic strut. Lift the lid in the normal way to open the box (it's spring assisted), and then lift again before closing. It's a clever system; it holds the lid wider than normal spring struts, the lid won't sag if the springs get tired, and unlike spring struts there's no possibility of snagging on anything which is loose in the box, e.g. a coat.
All but the Farad 320 are available in grey, metallic silver or metallic black. The 320 is only available in grey.
