The Peli 1080 Hardback Computer Case is resistant to knocks and dust, it is also splashproof. The 'shock-absorbing' moulded plush foam liner protects notebooks from impacts and scratches and general wear and tear.
To complement this modern Peli case it's been fitted with an Easy snap anodized aluminum latch with a standard Peli case O ring and also a Vent with Gore-Tex™ membrane for auto pressure balance. The Peli 1080 has been designed to provide maximum security and protection to laptops from brands such as, Dell®, IBM® ,Sony® Apple® up to 13 inch screens.
The Peli 1080 case is available in black or charcoal grey with silver latches.
All Peli cases are made of a high impact structural copolymer resin and use O ring sealing technology to make them unbreakable in normal use. ("Normal" to you might be different from "normal" to us. They probably wouldn't survive being driven over by a 40 tonne main battle tank.) There's an automatic pressure purge valve to cope with the problem of significant changes in atmospheric pressure, i.e. being unable to open the lid because of the pressure difference.
