All Peli cases are made from a high impact structural copolymer polypropylene, with ABS latches, and use O-Ring sealing technology to make them watertight, airtight, and unbreakable in normal use. The automatic pressure purge valve allows for equalisation of air pressure, but keeps water molecules out; without a purge valve the pressure differences caused by e.g flying might prevent you from opening the lid. All hinges use stainless steel rods, and the latches are "double action", requiring less effort to open them.

Use Pick 'N' Pluck foam for optimal protection of particular items. This is made up of a large number of small pre-scored cubes so, having marked the outline of your equipment with tape or chalk, you then pluck away until your equipment is safely buried.
