A roof box is useless without a set of bars to put it on so most of our customers buy a pair of roof bars and a roof box at the same time. That's why it makes sense for us to offer special package deals where you get whichever bars you need, and a box, for a fixed price! There are two offers - a range of top quality Kamei packages, and the budget Farad 320 deal.

Boxes, bars, locks and a FREE roof box hoist!

Roof boxes are large items and can be awkward to store. Our package deals therefore include a roof box hoist to enable you to store your roof box in your garage or shed roof space. Many people will leave the box fixed to to the bars to save even more time. Information on the roof bars is shown below.

Kamei is the premier German roof box manufacturer. Their boxes are of the highest quality, and packed with useful features as well as being styled for optimum efficiency. The boxes in the package deals are symmetrical - fit them to whichever side of the car makes best sense for your journey - and include Kamei's push button locking system, the most secure system available, as well as Stabilus gas struts to ensure easy and wide opening of the lid. Each box has a six year guarantee.

Aerobars (where available) and box adapters will cost an extra £25.00.

Farad 320. This dual side opening, central locking box is a smaller version of the No. 2 box in last year's Auto Express roof boxes test. It's made from the same good quality UV protected styrene, and includes Farad's patented telescopic lid struts. We're impressed. Kamei deals: Take your pick from either Thule or Atera roof bars. You'll be taken to a page where you'll select your vehicle type and then be shown all the bar options that are available. We will always add locks even if you forget to choose these, and will always add roofbox aerobar adapters if you choose alumimium aerobars.

Both Atera and Thule bars are of the same quality, easy to fit, and stylish. The main difference between them is that Atera bars are supplied complete and ready to fit to a particular car, whereas Thule bars are made up from modular components - so it's sometimes possible to take them from vehicle to vehicle without much additional cost. Aluminium aerobars and box adapters for both brands can be supplied, if available, for an extra £25 - any increases in the basic package price are taken care of automatically.

Farad 320 deal: Fapa's Porter bars are outstanding value. They have a 2 year guarantee and are well made, strong, sturdy, easily fitted, adequately rust proofed, TUV approved, and supplied ready to fit - just place them on the roof and turn the Allen key! All tools and fixings are supplied. Except for the roof rail crossbars they aren't lockable, but many of them can't be removed if the car doors are locked.
