This vehicle has a Plain roof fitting system

If your car doesn't have any other obvious fitting system the bars clamp around the bodywork.

Roof tents may be suitable for this vehicle with the correct setup

This vehicle uses a clamp-mounted (plain roof) system. While many customers successfully use roof tents on similar setups, it’s important to ensure the roof bars, fitting kit, and vehicle load limits are all suitable.

Aluminium or steel bars?
Aluminium bars include full length T-track slots for fixing accessories; you can use the whole length of the bar for load carrying. Most aluminium bars are also low noise, low drag.

Steel bars have a shorter load carrying length because the accessories are fixed around the bars, and the roof bar feet get in the way of these fixings.
