For almost 30 years, The Roof Box Company has helped customers across the UK travel further, carry more, and get the most from their vehicles.

Since 1997, we've specialised exclusively in roof racks, roof boxes, bike carriers, towbar carriers, ski carriers, and outdoor transport solutions. While many retailers sell roof racks alongside hundreds of unrelated products, this has always been our world. It's what we know, what we test, and what we're passionate about.

2026 marks an exciting new era for The Roof Box Company.

We've partnered with Roof Racks Galore - Australia and New Zealand's roof rack specialists - bringing together decades of experience from two of the most respected specialist rack retailers in the world.

With more than 40 specialist stores across Australia and New Zealand, Roof Racks Galore has built a reputation for expert fitting, premium brands, and industry-leading product knowledge. Together, our global team now includes more than 200 dedicated roof rack specialists focused on helping customers find the best carrying solutions for their vehicle and lifestyle.

This partnership gives us access to an even greater depth of expertise, real-world fitting knowledge, and product testing experience from across multiple continents, climates, and vehicle markets.

The UK's First Specialist Roof Rack Showroom Experience

2026 is also a landmark year for The Roof Box Company as we open our very first dedicated roof rack store in Greater Manchester.

Designed to be one of the UK's largest specialist roof rack showrooms, the new store gives customers the opportunity to see, compare, and experience the world's leading brands all under one roof. Our showroom will feature premium products from Atera, BUZZRACK, CRUZ, Hapro, KAMEI, Thule, Yakima and Üebler.

This isn't just another warehouse or online collection point - it's a true specialist destination built for people who love travel, adventure, cycling, camping, skiing, and getting more from their vehicle.

Customers will be able to speak directly with experienced rack specialists, get hands-on with products before buying, and receive expert fitting services tailored specifically to their vehicle.

To help launch the new store, we're even flying over some of our expert Australian fitters this summer, bringing decades of real-world fitting experience from the Roof Racks Galore team.
