Roof bars for Skoda Rapid Spaceback (2013 to 2019)

This vehicle has a Plain roof fitting system

If your car doesn't have any other obvious fitting system the bars clamp around the bodywork.

Roof Tents should NOT be fitted to vehicles with a plain roof

Roof top tents are becoming increasingly popular, but we advise they should only be carried on vehicles which have rails, fixpoints, tracks or gutters. If fitted to clamp mount roof bars for plain roofs, there is too much risk of damage to the roof, which would also be a massive safety issue because the roof bar clamps would not work correctly.

Filters
Aluminium or steel bars?
Aluminium bars include full length T-track slots for fixing accessories; you can use the whole length of the bar for load carrying. Most aluminium bars are also low noise, low drag.

Steel bars have a shorter load carrying length because the accessories are fixed around the bars, and the roof bar feet get in the way of these fixings.
