Protective cases: Options and Accessories
Options for B&W and Peli cases are foam inserts and padded dividers. Accessories include Straps, Backpacks and Lid Pockets for B&W outdoor.cases.
Foam: Removeable foamed material insert, in cubic parts that enables an individual division of the case interior in the bottom and egg foam in the lid. Foam comes automatically with your case if you order the option WITH foam inserts or Pick N' Pluck foam.
Padded Dividers: Padded case inserts made of washable woved fabric variable compartment division through velcro fly and egg foam in the lid. Padded dividers come automatically with your case if you order the option WITH padded dividers.
Straps: Length adjustable carrier strap with shoulder cushion for some B&W cases. Straps are an option to buy when you place an order for a case.
Backpacks: Well padded and ergonomically designed to allow for plenty of ventilation as well as ease of carrying. There are several zipped pockets as well as a tripod carrier. Available for some B&W cases. Backpacks are an option to buy when you place an order for a case.
Lid Pockets: Perfect for holding documents, operating manuals etc. The detachable lid pocket can be fixed by two velcro straps. For protection of the equipment in the bottom of the case, the lid pocket is padded with egg foam. Available for some B&W cases. Lid pockets are an option to buy when you place an order for a case.
B&W outdoor.cases have passed the stringent TÜV testing regime;Waterproof: this included a period of immersion at 5 metres, Protective: a 3m fall to concrete, and various compression and operational tests in simulated extreme conditions. There's an overview on the video link, including a 10 metre drop test.
