This superb bike carriers and bars package deal provides everything you need, including (where possible) locking roof bars. All you need to do is to click on "Add to basket and choose bars" to place your order; we'll then show you which roof bars are available. You'll pay more for aluminium than for steel, and you'll pay more for Atera, Thule, or Yakima than you'll pay for CRUZ. The savings on buying the components individually are huge and, if the bars you choose don't come with locks as standard, we'll include them for free, so often the savings are even bigger than advertised. We're very confident that you won't find such good value anywhere else! INNO’s Tyre Hold rack is a beautifully designed and easy to use bike carrier from Japan’s market leader. The bike is held only by its tyres, so no part of the rack touches the bike frame or cables – making this rack the ideal, and often only, option for bikes with carbon frames, or for non-standard shaped frames that don’t fit a standard bike carrier. It's the ideal way to carry carbon framed bikes with non-standard forks or disc brakes which won't fit in a fork mount carrier. Fitting your bike to the rack is incredibly easy: Open the arms, place your bike on the carrier at which point the bike rolls into the front wheel holder and is self-supporting, allowing you to use both hands to finish the job. The rear wheel holder applies gentle extra pressure on the tyres as you press down the lever and lock it. Other features:
This carrier fits around bars up to 90mm wide by 30mm deep, so it will fit all our Atera, CRUZ and Thule bars. |

I have other bike racks from different manufactures ( Thule ,atera ,halfords) but this rack is the most secure and also the easiest to use and it does not touch the frame . I have carbon bikes and the rack is superb. Great product

Vehicle type: Estate
As I have a rather expensive carbon bike, I was not keen on using one of the usual bike racks where there is a bar connected to the frame. Moreover, I was also concerned with security - both in terms of the bike possibly being removed, and also being secure on top of the car. (I had visions of being stuck at traffic lights in the car, and then someone rushes up and nicks it. Or I suddenly notice that the bike has embedded itself into the bonnet of the car behind). I needed something to reassure me...quick!
The INNO bike holder resolves both of these issues. The bike is not only locked to the bike rack, but the rack itself is designed in such a way that it can't be easily removed. And the rack doesn't even touch the frame. This is undoubtedly the best bike rack around, although thieves might disagree.
I recently bought the bike and the shop staff all came out to look at the rack. They even started looking up the Roofbox Company on line to check things out. I suspect some more sales. What else can one say?

About our reviews: We test, and often use personally, almost all the products we sell, and we stand behind our comments and recommendations unless customers convince us they need changing. Our Customer Services and Workshop staff also have input into our recommendations. But it's because we've learned a lot over many years that customer feedback is so important. Fresh, first time out opinions are the most useful ones, and in any event we certainly don't have access to the full range of vehicles that our customers have between them. Product feedback from existing customers helps our new customers make choices, and also helps our suppliers with their product development. We e-mail our customers a week or so after their order arrives and invite them to send in a review. Some reviews are suitable for multiple products. Where appropriate we may, for example, use the same review for a number of different roof bar products where the only difference is the length of the roof bar. |
Delivery charges and arrangements:We charge a contribution towards delivery costs, depending on what you order, where you live, and how quickly you want the goods. Deciding which bike carriers to buy is not always easy, especially as you may not have had experience of using bike carriers before. We hope that our buying guides provide useful guidance about which bike carrier 'strategy' will be most appropriate for your circumstances, as well as highlighting the best features of particular models. We also have troubleshooting FAQs - for example, some customers struggle at first to fit four bikes onto a tow ball carrier, and wonder whether a different carrier would allow the bikes to be spaced wider apart. (It won't, but we have some good tips which make bike fitting much easier.) Our bike carriers Exchange Scheme covers roof mounting and tow ball mounting bike carriers only. Rear door mounting / strap on carriers are not included, and nor are roof bars. It allows you to exchange within 90 days of invoice date. Most exchanges are for roof mounting upgrades, or are tow ball carriers with very basic tilting systems being exchanged for easy to use sliding / tilting carriers. These are the rules of the bike carriers Exchange Scheme:
This is how the exchange scheme works:
If you want to exchange bike carriers that were purchased as part of a package deal, the scheme works in exactly the same way. Please note that the roof bars in package deals will be invoiced at the full “Our Price” that was advertised at the time of order, with the bike carriers representing the difference between the package deal price and the roof bars, this difference being split equally between the number of bike carriers. You will see therefore that package deal bike carriers are often invoiced at a very substantial discount to the cost of buying these items on their own. Please note: we can only collect items from mainland UK.
